Future-ready quiz challenge – prize draw

  1. The ‘Future-ready quiz challenge - prize draw’ is open to all active ACMA and FCMA members of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) who share a valid link to the quiz and hashtag #CGMAfutureready on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook between 00.00 GMT on Wednesday 20 March 2019 and 23.59 GMT on Wednesday 31 July 2019. Entrants must have public Instagram and/or Twitter and their entries on Facebook must be made public to be counted. – If you have any questions about how to enter or in connection with the prize draw, please email us at cima.contact@aicpa-cima.com with ‘Future-ready quiz challenge - prize draw query’ in the subject line.
  2. You must be over 18 and reside in the UK to enter the prize draw.
  3. Employees, (including members that are employees), or agencies of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Association of International Professional Accountants (AICPA), its group companies and affiliates or their family members, or anyone else connected with the ‘Future-ready quiz challenge - prize draw’ may not enter the prize draw.
  4. We will accept multiple entries per person per platform during the ‘Future-ready quiz challenge - prize draw’ period from 00.00 GMT on Monday 25 March 2019 and 23.59 GMT on Wednesday 31 July 2019. Share multiple times to increase your chances of winning the draw. Entries made on behalf of another person will not be accepted.
  5. There will be five prize-draws and five winners. The prize-draws will take place at the close of each month for entries received between: Prize-draw 1; between 00.00 GMT on 25 March and 23:59 GMT on 31 March 2019 Prize-draw 2; between 00:00 GMT on 1 April and 23:59 GMT on 30 April 2019 Prize-draw 3; between 00.00 GMT on 1 May and 23:59 GMT on 31 May 2019 Prize-draw 4; between 00.00 GMT on 1 June and 23:59 GMT on 30 June 2019 Prize-draw 5; between 00:00 GMT on 1 July and 23:59 GMY on 31 July 2019 Entries received after this time will not be considered.
  6. Winner(s) will be chosen by being drawn at random from the valid entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions. The draw will be performed by a computerised random number generator.
  7. The winner(s) will receive a digital e-voucher for £50 GBP or $65 US depending on your stated preference delivered via the email address the winner provides via the social media platform the winning post is on upon being contacted.
  8. CIMA accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize.
  9. The winner(s) will be notified using the same social platform the winning post and hashtag is on. CIMA accepts no liability for non-receipt or any other loss in connection with non-receipt of any public messages and neither does it accept liability for the accuracy of email addresses provided to which we will send the e-voucher.
  10. The winner(s) must confirm their CIMA Contact ID and email address to claim their prize. If the winner does not respond to CIMA within four days of being notified by CIMA, or if the winner(s) rejects their prize, or their entry is invalid or in breach of these terms and conditions, then they shall forfeit their prize and CIMA shall be entitled to select an alternate winner in accordance with the process described above.
  11. The voucher will be sent to the winner by email. CIMA accepts no responsibility for the non-delivery or otherwise.
  12. The decision of CIMA is final. The prize must be accepted as awarded.
  13. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for other prizes.
  14. CIMA retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event that the original prize offered is not available.
  15. The name, city and country of residence of the winner(s) can be obtained after 31 August 2019 by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to the following address: The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, The Helicon, One South Place, London, United Kingdom, EC2M 2RB
  16. The winner(s) may be asked to take part in promotional activity related to the ‘Future-ready quiz challenge - prize draw’. The winners will be given the option to give their consent upon winning.
  17. Entry to the ‘Future-ready quiz challenge - prize draw’ is conditional on acceptance of these terms and conditions. By submitting your details in the competition form, you are deemed to have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
  18. By submitting your information, you are agreeing to have your data processed in accordance with CIMA’s Privacy Policy.
  19. CIMA accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the ‘Future-ready quiz challenge - prize draw’ or accepting the prize. CIMA further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in, or downloading any materials in connection with, the ‘Future-ready quiz challenge - prize draw’. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude the liability of CIMA for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
  20. CIMA reserves the right at any time, and from time to time, to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this prize draw with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of CIMA in all matters under its control is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  21. CIMA shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
  22. The ‘Future-ready quiz challenge - prize draw’ will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
