Overview

With fewer than 100 days left before 29 March 2019 and the United Kingdom leaving the European Union under Article 50, the political climate around Brexit is changing almost daily, causing economic uncertainty. The precise terms under which the U.K. will leave or ‘divorce’ the E.U. remain unresolved.

The Withdrawal Agreement and Political Declaration agreed with the E.U. Council on 25th November 2018 are yet to be approved by the U.K. Parliament due to vocal opposition to the Irish backstop provision.
